Did you hear that the NYTimes' weapons cache story was shopped to 60 Minutes and they were planning an election eve blockbustre. But the NY Times broke it first.

Surely there's some way for the Bushies to make a joke out of the story now that it's known 60 Minutes was planning to use it.

BTW there were only 8-10 thousand to see Slick today, not 80,000-100,000 as I heard on one show. And rumor has it that Philadelphia City workers were given the afternoon off and told to attend the rally.

I watched the end part of that rally and was less than impressed. There is absolutely no way there were 80,000 - 100,000 people there. No way.

And, no one was smiling either, except for Kerry. He has the goofiest smile since he had his teeth fixed, he looks like a beaver...
