Beware of trolls posing as undecideds. Having said that, I'm very interested in learning why you are still "undecided" at this point. What candidate most closely reflects your values?

You may have put your finger on why Independent5 is undecided. He may have values in terms of fairness, but not in terms of an underlying political philosophy, if he is truly what he says he is.

Hence his hope that government can be the intsrument of utopia and fairness. Unfortunately, letting government be that instrument requires that it have awesome and total power.

The second sentence is the answer to the first. I don't know which candidate most closely reflects my values. I'm trying to decide, more accurately, which candidate is the least-least-like me, if you know what I mean.
