yes, there does.. not for myself but there might be someone
reading this who doesnt understand baseball or the political implications of which teams will play in the world series.

welcome to FR and thanks for a great analysis.

LOL was a half joke... but still I dunno. I'm a Braves fan and still feel some pain when the city of Toronto is mentioned lol.
Anyway the Sox did their part....GO CARDS!!!

If Kerry says he is rooting for the Cardinals then Bush will massacre him with another flip flop, this one being one of the worst ever as he is from the Boston area. Kerry already dissed Red Sox fans as living in "fantasyland" like Republicans. So if Kerry roots for the Red Sox, someone should ask if he too is living in famtasyland?

In a way, I hope the Sox win. Not because I like the team (Tigers fan, actually) but if the Sox win, Boston will implode. Think about it...Boston's victory celebration will make Fallujah look like a pretty good place to spend the holidays.

Rooting for the Sox but I DO NOT want to see Kerry throwing out a 1st pitch in a World Series Game! Actually, I wouldn't mind if he threw his usual limp wristed, too close to the plate, girly lob pitch in game 1 as long as it's followed by Bush throwing his usual from-the-mound strike in game 2!

It's not Kerry's team - Kerr is a fairweather fan of political convenience.
And most Boston fans know it. HE got BOOED by the fans when he showed up to throw out a ball.
No, it's not his team. Not all at.

there's a rumor flying around State College, PA that W will be attending the PSU/Iowa football game Saturday at noon. I hope he brought a bottle of No-Doz.
This games a snoozer!

HE got BOOED by the fans when he showed up to throw out a ball. They'll still vote for him anyway.

Hope for a Red Sox - Astros series so some Texas men can beat some Boston boys, just like things will be on Nov. 2.That would have made a fantastic World Series. The Cards/RedSox finals is actually quite boring.

I'm glad he didn't attend. It's embarrassing. Our defense is top notch. Our offense is the worst in Division I Football.
