Did you hear his interview with Newt. Newt does not sound as confident as he did a few weeks ago. He was expecting the race to have broken for Bush by now.

I was just listening to that. Just more and more proof of who the MSM is supporting.
To: bubman
WOW, that was enlightening.
We always thought he (Sam D) was anti-Bush. Now we KNOW.

Donaldson was completely outed by Hannity - I expect MRC to be all over this.

Thanks for ruining the Newt interview!!
I love the interviews with him. He is up next after the commerical break as I have an hour delay of the program.
I am still looking forward to it.

Hannity wrote a book??? Yeah sure, just another Martin_Fierro tall tale. Just like when you tried to convince me that Kerry was in 'Nam.

He said his gut was Bush would win. He felt the election would finally swing one way or the other and it would not be as close as last time. He seemed surprised that it had not already swung for Bush.

Did you hear his interview with Newt. Newt does not sound as confident as he did a few weeks ago. He was expecting the race to have broken for Bush by now. Of the 60 polls included on RealClearPolitics.com since early September, here is the breakdown.
Kerry: Up in 4 polls
Tied: Candidates tied in 7 polls
Bush: Up in 49 polls.
Biggest Kerry lead since end of August: 4%
Biggest Bush lead since end of August: 16%
My point? One could argue that it has already broken for Bush.

Hannity figures out that Donaldson is in the tanks for Kerry.
No big surprise here.
Donaldson makes the argument that Kerry supported the same defense cuts that then Secretary of Defense Cheney did. Probably BUT...
Hannity should have said that this was during the breakup of the USSR and that defense cuts at the time were warranted. The distinction between the two men is that Kerry always takes it a step farther, he wants to cut defense to the bone. And during the cold war, Kerry always sought cutting US defenses that would have jeopardized the country.
Hello Hannity, shows some distinction and contrasts here.

Thank you for explaining...but if Bush is up on average of +4 or 5 ....how can you get more than that if the country is divided?
To: Two Dawgs
Unreal that Donaldson would take the side for Kerry as if he is working for the campaign.
Let's ask Donaldson about the quotes from Kerry while on the senate floor about the degradation of our military and our role in the world.
Maybe that would layout a stark contrast between Cheney and Kerry.

When Hannity took Donaldson apart on the weekend furlough issue regarding Reagan's position as governor in California vs. Michael Dukakis, Donaldson backed away and said "well, it doesn't matter anyways because no one from that era is on the ballot."
That was an outright lie, and Sean didn't call him on it (something Sean fails at often). Someone from that era IS on the ballot, and his name is John Kerry. As Lt. Governor of Massachusetts, Kerry SUPPORTED that same weekend furlough program for murderers that Dukakis put in place which allowed Willie Horton to go free!
