Reason O'Reilly Smears the Swift Boat Vets

As if O'Reilly doesn't have enough trouble stirring around him these days....

Last night on Factor he and Kerry biographer, Douglas Brinkley, had a smooch-fest to celebrate the paperback release of Brinkleys's Tour of Duty.

Left unsaid, by both, was the fact that O'Reilly publicly praised Brinkley's book before its original, hardback printing. Can we say, "HUGE CONFLICT OF INTEREST"?

In fact, the obviously love-struck Brinkley liked O'Reilly's thumbs-up so much they both agreed to publish....

Why are you excerpting a friggin' internet blog? There's no copyright on an internet blog.

SHeesh!!!

Bill is on the downside of his bell curve... did you see that Franken beat him in radio this past week? ( www.drudge.com )...

I've stopped watching/listening to him since he dissed the Swifties...

Not surprised... O'Reilly was kissing up to Kerry back in the primary process as well.

I still like watching him sometimes, but this love-fest with Kerry is making me puke. He about wet himself when he found out that Juan Williams interviewed Kerry. I think O has a crush on the big hunk ;-)

Unless this blog tells Jim to cease and desist, we should not be excerpting.

This excessive excerpting is ridiculous. I never read the links, so I guess I just miss out.

I say let the blog get the hits from our clicks -- they went to the trouble to research and write this. Plus, I think it is copyrighted automatically with the Creative Commons license.

The one guy I've added to the paperback is Steven Gardner, who was known as "the wild man." He was a gunner on 94, and what I found out is when Kerry -- the animosity that Gardner has for Kerry is because he was firing his gun in non-stop fashion, Kerry screamed at him and threatened to court-martial him. Hence, Gardner has been sore all these years on that

horse crap. they're ALL "sore" at him because he called them WAR CRIMINALS, for God's sake. why is it so hard for people to understand that? being called a "war criminal" before congress, or getting an a$$ chewing for firing too rapidly. YOU do the math.

I saw that pukefest.

Stupidly, I thought O'Shill might redeem himself when he said he was going to have a swiftee on tonight. He then had someone else (former POW/ambassador to Vietnam?) on to dis the swiftee.

In other O'Shill news: Juan Williams appears to have the IQ of a fig.

I just don't understand some people's problem with excerpted or linked articles. if you want to "one stop shop" anyplace, FR included, you're going to miss out.

what's the big deal? open on the friggin' link in a new broswer window. or if not, use the "back" botton to return to FR. it's just not that hard.

It's a proven fact that few people go to an excerpted article.

Like it or not, there it is.

Anybody think O'Reilly would ask Kerry about:

1. Cambodia
2. Magic Hat
3. 1st Purple Heart

I think O'Reilly has the stones but I think Kerry will chicken out.

I can't be bothered to clink on every article either. If it's important, it should be in the posted article. If not, it's just another advertisement for someone's blog.

And aren't most blogs just stealth Vanities?
