Don't feel too bad. My wife's cat generally prefers my company, and the feline was four years old when we met. Every night now Jezebel jumps on the bed, circles around my wife's side, and comes over to me to scratch at the covers until I let her in and then she scoots under my arm.

LOL! Jezebel is such a great cat name! Girl cats are such sluts - mine purrs politely when I pet her but makes really embarrassing noises when either of her two guys pet her.
