If you search "Fox News" you primarily get a slew of listings from a ridiculous blog-chat anti-Fox News ultra-leftwing site called "News Hounds". That site exists to scream about Fox News and no one could possibly argue it is a "news" site. (In fact the site authors worked on the "film" anti-Fox rant "Outfoxed".) There are ZERO pages from the actual web page of Fox News on the first page. (In fact, the
However, if you reverse it and search "News Hounds" you get exclusively links to "News Hounds" own website!
I googled Fox News and got the link to the Fox news web page #1.
Apparently there are no conservative hackers in existence. If there were, the damage done to conservative sites would be being repaid in kind.
Same here, followed by fox, and the by fox sports.
Google is notoriously liberal
As is Yahoo, MSN, and most other Internet companies and organizations.
Google has Al-Jazeera as a "reliable" news source on its own news feed.
I don't know what you are talking about. Here are the first three hits:

Conservative hackers hack for good.
Conservative hackers sleep well (when they sleep).
Conservative hackers have consciences.
got all fox news sites on google.
Yes it is but I haven't found it to skew search results as this poster alleges. A search for Fox News delivers Fox News.
Because I use Google a lot for research it's my home page. The news stories featured there mostly seem to have a Lefty slant. I wrote them to complain about it once and they replied that all their stories are selected by algorithym. I responded that it must be an "AlGorerithm." I never heard back.
How does one write a computer program to be "Liberal"?
The fact of the matter is, that Google news is almost fully automated - Its all software, with a couple grunts scanning the page to make sure no porn creeps in.
The same for the search engine - All automated.
Google news has massive lists of news sites that they scan, and if a story breaks on one but never shows up anywhere else it is considdered local news, and is not placed on their news page. After a story starts to appear on many
sites, it will start to show on google, even tho the number
of "minutes ago" will reflect only the story they linked to.
This is totally in conformance with Google's Link based reputation philosophy, where the number of links to a page indicates its rank. With news, its the number of sites posting the story.
So if google seems liberal to you its merely because the press is liberal. Google writes NONE of their own news.
Yes, of course. I forgot to mention them because I don't consider AOL an Internet company. (Ha!)
Seriously, AOL is actually a proprietary commercial wide-area-network with gateway connections to the Internet.
Click the link.
You have to be at google's "News" search engine (not simply a normal google search). Which is why the "News Hounds" political rant pages do not belong there.
Fact. Not allegation.
My post concerns google's "News" search engine, not simply the plain old google search engine.
For the past few months, I've received daily Google news alerts on "oil for food". While I'm glad for the free service, not one article link from Fox News or any other TV based web news service has been sent to me. This leads me to believe they do not monitor such sites.
