II Cor 6 (KJV)
12 Ye are not straitened in us, but ye are straitened in your own bowels.
13 Now for a recompence in the same, (I speak as unto my children,) be ye also enlarged.
14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?
15 And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?
16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
(MSG)
12We didn't fence you in. The smallness you feel comes from within you. Your lives aren't small, but you're living them in a small way. 13I'm speaking as plainly as I can and with great affection. Open up your lives. Live openly and expansively! [JC]
14Don't become partners with those who reject God. How can you make a partnership out of right and wrong? That's not partnership; that's war. Is light best friends with dark? 15Does Christ go strolling with the Devil? Do trust and mistrust hold hands? 16Who would think of setting up pagan idols in God's holy Temple? But that is exactly what we are, each of us a temple in whom God lives. God himself put it this way:
"I'll live in them, move into them;
I'll be their God and they'll be my people.
I thank God for my many blessings - I am thankful for each and every one of you, for your efforts to spread the Gospel of our Lord and Savior. I pray for you, your families and those you love, for your churches and the families therein. I pray that our Father will shield each of you from the evils of the world, that He will bless our country, our leaders and our troops. I pray that God will bless you abundantly, coorect any injustices in your lives, and give you peace. I pray that God will allow us to be a light in a darkened world, that we will turn our paths toward Him. In the name of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, Amen.
Yeah... :-) Great prayer! Thanks :-)
I join in your prayer, including you in all the blessings!
I send out a Devotion every day. I farm them from different locations. This was the one for today and rather appropriate for our times

--- 1 Samuel 17:45-53
Sorry for the absence. You are too kind.
Thanks - God rewards His faithful in many ways!
Amen! He certainly does!
;o) My favorite movie among the three. God has a history of always using far fewer for His purposes than what WE would expect - where we want an army - God uses a single man, or 300. It's a sign of FAITH, and proof that GOD delivered the victory.
Kudos too on the devotion!
I had noticed your conspicuous absense. Good to have you back!
:-)
