That's funny.... but I have to disagree, I think GWB did well in the 2nd debate - maybe not a win (for me it was a win), but at least a tie!!!

I agree with your score card, sort of.

1st debate = Bush off his game, Kerry won (on the basis of style only. Bush still had substance, but you had to 'listen' and not 'watch')

2nd debate = Bush trounced Kerry, on both (style and substance) Kerry was left repeating talking points after 30-45 minutes...or left making ridiculous statements like, "I am for tort reform". I nearly soiled my pants laughing when I heard that.

3rd debate = I would have called this more of a draw, except that Kerry really shot his mouth off regarding Cheney's daughter. This is especially a negative when you compound it with Edward's comments about Chris Reeve, et al.
While I support the President, I think last night's debate was more a matter of Kerry losing (by speaking too much), more than Bush winning (by getting his message across).
