A way to get rid of Bill O'reilly

Posted on 10/12/2004 8:09:12 PM PDT by oooold_observer

I just signed on tonight so please forgive me my errors. Somewhere, on FR I read about Bill O on fox. While I'm an oldie, almost 71, I'd ask those much smarter than me if you saw "O" salivating over the guest from TV Guide for gaining him an upcoming interview with his lordship, senator turncoat. More to the point, does anyone recall in an earlier show he said he'd known senator turncoat for 25 years, and Knew him him to be an honorable man. (You do the math please to put that in it's proper time perspective.) And lastly, he said in a later show he SO Hoped he could get an interview with both candidates so he could in his terms, stripe those interviews, each weeknight for a week. While I'm on a very limited budget, I'd bet he will put the interviews together, back to back, the Week before the election. Oh, one more thing. IF you were "O", which interview would you run first, and then follow it up with someone you've known Personally for 25 years?....Sorry, too old to have not made notes of the dates...but, it's there. My first comments and I'll sit back in my rocking chair and hope someone with more energy than I can find this info and share it. If I'm off topic, or have done something wrong, I apologize.

Oreilly himself said hes been trying for months...why doesnt OReilly say HEY he cant come on he's a big fat horse faced liar and isnt welcome..."......

O'Reilly was talking to one of his campaign guys and asked why, considering that Kerry said he would like to be on O's show, couldn't Kerry just say he would be on.

The whimp started talking about schedules, etc. and O' shot him down asking if Kerry was running the show or not. Basically, he was shooting Kerry down big time.

If he called him a 'big fat liar', Kerry would have his out, saying he had planned to come on but would not come on a show where they were already calling him a big fat liar.

What is a DU?

Abbreviation for a narcissistic, socialistic, self-made victim who does not believe in personal responsibility, and so, is willing to surrender his liberty and 70% of his income in exchange for the government (or the UN) providing him with what they believe he needs.

Ah yes, you know I get them mixed up with World Bank loans because they all end up the same way. That is, one-way.

Interesting the "O" is opposed to the Sinclair deal, all 527's, bloggers, talk radio and any other form of media he could not dominate (his radio show isn't exactly a smash hit).

I did catch that part. I couldn't get up from what I was doing to change the channel. That really made me ill when he said.. Oh come on.. they know what they're doing!! Meaning that it was all propaganda? Inferring... Then said ok.. 90 min. for them and 90 min. for Kerry to put something on. You got to be kidding... They've had all year of coverage!! Then he compared the show to Michael Moore's!! That's when I just about lost it. O'Reilly really sucks!! Can I say that on here? That's not a dirty word is it? I can think of worse but I KNOW they're not allowed.

Not to post 4000 times on this, but I think this whole matter with the FCC, as well as the big 527 fiasco is going to open the door wide open for discussion again on the "Fairness Doctrine". If the FCC shuts down Sinclair, my humble opinion is that it will be bad-precident-city.

It's doubly interesting since the Dems are trying to do to Sinclair what they've been trying to do to him (and Rush) since he became #1.

See, all this talk of flip-flopping is only shallow stoffe. Dems are committed and consistent. Now it is true they will and often do lie to achieve goals (a necessity since most people tend not to go willingly to their own slaughter), that is far from flip-flopping in any substantial sense. That said, when the hardline Left organizes to silence opposition in Budapest, East Berlin, Tienanmen, American Talk radio, the blogosphere or on television, it should come as no surprise to us. But as Americans we have to stand against it.

Anyone who finds Kerry "honorable" is on brain-support.

O'Reilly qualifies!
