It's been posted umpty-eleven times in the past year. I'm tired of rehashing the conversation.
Jeb Bush/Condi Rice Ticket would be good.
Let's start talking about this AFTER Nov 2nd. We have plenty of time to talk about 2008.
By golly, I never thought about it. You're the first person to ask that question here.
She looks scared a lot - and I can't figure out why and that worries me - What does she know that the citizens don't - or should know -
If she does run - I do hope if there are any skeletons - they are taken care of well ahead of time - those other people are brutal and given their track record -
Better safe -
just my thoughts -
By the way I have NO DOUBT that Hillary will may a play in 2008 for president. We are going to need someone who can beat the pants off of her and its not going to be easy to find someone from the choices we have now.
I am not sure Condi wants to be prez and I think it has to be something that drives you. I heard someone ask her that question and she didn't act like someone who had even considered it.
The problem with female/non-white Presidents is they suffer from 'Pope Syndrome'. There are hate groups out there that step over the line of intolerance. If I remember correctly, Powell's family urged him to drop out of his run due to fear of assassination. The first non-white male to take office will live in a glass cage. Not to say this will never happen. It most likely will.
Welcome to Free Republic, Joe. (Hope you have thick skin, kiddo!)
I'd love to see Condi run in '08, in any position! She's great and one can only hope that the Republican powers that be are grooming her for movement up the ladder (so to speak).
GO SWIFTIES GO and may God continue to bless America.

How about Condi Rice for my wife by 2008?
Just joking, but you get me here. As well as being a strong-willed, independant, and highly intelligent patriot-warrior, Condi is sexy as hell, and she has legs which go so high that they touch the sky (even nitwit terrorist Yassir Arafat noted how beautiful she is). If I didn't already know it, I would never have guessed that she was 50 (35 sounds about right). I do not mean any disrespect by this at all, and I'm sure there are many male freepers who think the same way that I do. She's damn near a perfect woman.
My two bits. Condi doesn't want to and never will. She's not a political animal, unlike the President or VP. She would make a wonderful Sec of State if Colin Powell leaves, and she is more-or-less doing some of that job already, but she's a super-intelligent diplomat type not a politician.
