My democrat friend said last night, "Anyone who was wobbly about Bush after the 1st debate is 100% restored now." Please post your friends', undecideds' reactions here!
I wish someone had asked about the AMT. That's my reaction.
I don't want any Democrat friends or relatives. I really do not. I consider Democrats to be the domestic enemy. I admit it...I am radical.
I also have RABID Dem relatives and I refuse to discuss politics with them.
Sadly, that is my situation but luckily they are "generational" Democrats (I broke the mold). I only have a few liberal relatives, but we avoid political discussions to minimize "hurt" feelings (not mine mind you).
I wouldn't have any friends if I didn't have Dems as my friends. I just had to endure listening to all the soccer moms at my son's game this morning rant about President Bush and how they can't believe he's President. One mom actually said, "Do you know that there are people in this country that actually like him?" and another mom chimed in, "They must live on Mars."
I was informally walking my SoCal precinct today and struck up a conversation at the dry cleaners about the debate. One guy is definitely for Bush; the girl is an undecided but "leaning Bush." After we chatted for awhile, she was leaning even moreso. I don't go out looking for undecideds so this was a nice happenstance. Basically, my area is deep in "enemy territory," where Repubs and conservs are in the closet. Most everyone is in one camp or the other.
You should have said, "We would love to but Democrats would probably move in and screw up the whole planet just like they are screwing up America." But in sentiment I agree with the woman. I wish we did not have to share the same planet with liberals.
I agree with Ann Coulter, NEVER be gracious to a liberal.
I feel for ya. I really do.
Nor do I comprehend the gray-haired undecideds like I saw in the audience last night. How did they ever make a voting decision in all their voting lives!?
It must be torture to go through so many election years being "undecided."
Also, I'd bet the ranch, half or none of them ever actually go & VOTE.
I used to, they're all gone now. Funny thing, they all thought I voted their way. (democrat), but I always voted Republican.
What do you do, if they bash President Bush? Grin and bear it? omg..
I live in a heavy Hispanic neighborhood in NYC and strangely, or not, most of the Hispanic males I know love Bush.
