Yes, as of 12:45pm EST, there are 172,693 FReeper registrations, with "Piglet" being the latest. Welcome Piglet!
Of that number, a great many are active, some are inactive, some have never been used (hmmmm!), some are banned and some have been zotted.

This is my second post. My last one got zero replies and 75 views. I'm starting to feel better.
I would bet about 10,000 of them have been banned, and another 100,000 hardly post or have abandoned their acounts.
