Actually there's only two - Jim and John Robinson.

They created a program to simulate an entire community.

Hint: Sign up for a new account, then look at your account number.

Example: you are freeper number 157498.

But you need to subtract the disruptors who have been banned. That would leave out of the 160,000 accounts about 275 active posters... Maybe 300.

The question then is how many are active, how many are dormant, are there posters who hold more than one SC and of course is FR gaining or losing members?

It's just me, with over 150,000 different screennames. How did you get one?

I'm pretty sure that at least half of the 15,000 DUers are conservative trolls posing as nutball lefties to discredit their site. Or I could be wrong and they really are that crazy.

About 170,000 accounts exist, but the historic attrition rate is about 95%, so there are about 8,500 active posters, e.g., made a post in the last 3 months or so.

They post so fast and to so many repeated threads we can't count 'em or they're counted twice.

Does anyone have any clue how many people have FR accounts?

Yes. Over 172,000 as of yesterday.

You must have a quick computer and superb keyboard skills to keep a thread like the debate one going...
