Okay, I know that there are a few somewhat important things going on this week, but it it Texas/OU weekend, isn't it? Come on, lets have a little (civil) trash talk/ predictions...
Hook 'em!!!!
OU, and Tex have bigger worries on the horizon....
Gig'em
Hook'em Horns!!!
UT 30
OU 21
Yeah,
Go Pokes!
Ahh, I was hoping you'd show up. There's plenty of time later for you guys...
As a faithful Texas A&M Aggie, I predict a blow out of 2003 proportions. May tu never see another Red River victory.
Actually, it's OU/Texas weekend.
Texas Tech looked good against the Sooners last Saturday. Very good, IMO, against the #2 team in the Nation.
As Bush/Cheney will prevail in November, the Horns will prevail this weekend.
Speaking of Nebraska. Would Tom Osborne have a good chance against Ben Nelson?
I think OU looked rather vulnerable last weekend...
Says you! :)
I'll give you Bush/Cheney, but I think tu is a lot like Kerry/Edwards... More liberal than they want anyone to know and weak on defense.
Has anyone seen the spread yet?
Here's one Aggie hoping tu beats OU for a change. Then we beat them both on our way to the Big 12 South title. Woop!
I doubt it will be as bad as the 65-13 thrashing last year, but OU returns the entire offense, with a new stellar running back.
Stoops seems to have Mack Brown's number.
Overall, I'd give OU a significant edge in offense, an edge on defense, and an edge on spedcial teams.
AZnd of course OU has a HUGE edge in coaching.
I predict 42-21 for OU.
BOOMER SOONERS! 'nuff said!
Sorry OU fans, but this Sooner team is not as good as last years team.
UT wins 24-17
Go Horns!!!!!!
First, it's called (now, anyways) the Red River "Shootout", not classic. For sip fans, it might as well be Red River shutout, or, as Brent Musburger put it, Red River bloodbath.
This game should be similar to 2002: good game for first half; OU blowout in second. t.u. has masked a lot of problems they've had with weak competition this year. The win at Arkansas was a good win, but they easily could have lost has the hog quarterback had an IQ north of 60.
Like other years, t.u. beats Rice and North Texas and thinks that prepares them for OU.
