You killed it.

Either that or everyone already started their weekend.

Kin I?

I'm windblown already! I got the jedis up early and started school early...we're going to work at the Coburn campaign after lunch and I want to get their school done (or mostly) before we go.

So I'm not going to be here much if at all. Expect me when you see me!

How was Dr. Dobson? We've got the pastor and his wife over for dinner tonight...we're moving up in the world. :-)

So, between cleaning, cooking, and school, I've gotta get going.

He was great! Unfortunately, a couple of other guys that spoke, stole all his thunder! He was speaking about our pro-marriage ammendment and talking up Dr. Coburn.

It was a hoot, though...when they entered the room, everyone went mad, but I'm sure it was for Dr. Coburn. I'm telling you the support for this fine man is amazing. I've never worked on such a dedicated grassroots campaign.

Coburn is leading in the polls now, coming from behind and spending half the money as the liberal dem he's running against. I'm convinced it's because of the volunteers who are so fired up. There is even an an effort utilizing homeschoolers, they have their own team leader and everything...it's awesome.

Thanks Rosie! It's the man I'm working for...he's a great conservative American. I met him briefly at the townhall meeting for homeschoolers and was just blown away by what a courteous and personable individual he was. I had no intention of being part of any campaigns this year because I made myself sick during the 2000 election (I can only be white-knuckled for only so long a period of time, it appears.) But when I met him, I was so impressed that I left the building saying "We gotta get this man elected!"

And I've worked ever chance I've gotten since.

It just dawned on me. Life is dang near meaningless without coffee. LOL Just kidding.

Does anyone in your family have a cd burner? Then you could make copies...

Someday when I'm closer to the roots of a campaign, I'd like to do a little. I'm not good at speaking to people and I'm terrified of arguing since though *I* know what I believe and why, I'm not always good at remaining cool and explaining things well to others. But I could do SOMETHING, I'm sure!

Heh...I'm going with out coffee at the moment, too. I've had lots of tea today, though.

*I* have a CD burner, if I could only get it to work. Lately it doesn't recognize that burnable CDs are burnable. I dunno if it just needs cleaning or what.

As usual with my own machine, I've been putting it off forever. But I should prolly try to figure it out.

Sure! Today the jedis and I are just going to the print shop and putting stamps on envelopes! Believe it or not, this room has seating for 75 people!! It's very possible that every seat will be filled at some time or another with people sticking stamps on envelopes with information that is hot off the presses.

See, then you could have backup copies. Get the bothers to buy the cds and give them copies.

Heh... I notice it's Scrapped Princess getting the ax, not Fullmetal Alchemist..

I'm not blaming you! I approve this decision! I mean, I loaned the only copy of several animes to my sister in England, but I've got a full set of FMA (currently on loan to a coworker) to hold me over until I can start buying it on DVD...

You know, it's just a thought. But I bet if y'all started yer own anime thread you'd find a lot more Freepers that share the interest.

Then again you might find some you didn't wanna...I guess it would be very un-Hobbitlike...

Good morning thread!!

It's pourin' out today and windy. Good day to stay inside. I think my honey is now catching my cold.

I wonder if it's cuz he doesn't wanna go to the baby shower tonight.

I dunno...in my case, it's something I find entertaining, but not really an obsession, and some of the more rabid fans scare me a bit. ;-)

Some of my brother's friends are like anime Trekkies, if ya know what I mean. Or Trekkers. Whatever.

As for me...I can quit whenever I want.

No... I'm just following a normal logic loop. I don't wanna go either. But we've got this pony to deliver.

Nah, not really. I just had the IT guy in here for about two hours working on my network connection. I had too much time to think...
