Did anyone bother to see this show? What were opinions? I did not see it but was wondering.
who plays the bimbo who's house burned down..she's awesome..seems "weird" to see Terri as thelesser attractive female in a series..playing against type?
LOL. I thought that was one of the funniest lines.
Terri Hatcher is very hot.
However, in some of the shots, we got to see her from behind.
She has no ass. I was very dissapointed, I appreciate that she is thin, but I suggest a few more calories daily.
I watched it, unintentionally, and was pleasantly surprised. It was pretty well done, although not for the prudish.
The style of the show was pretty creative. A voice-over narrated as the story went along, sort of like the old TV show The Wonder Years, or the movie A Christmas Story.
I have to say it was well written. The dialog was witty and incisively sardonic. Not at all the tepid tripe that's littered so much prime time network TV in the last few years.
Overall, I'd say it's worth watching, but I wouldn't set my Tivo if I was going to be out.
I don't know what her name is. I thought she was an ok character. A little stereotypical with the smart-a## daughter but basically ok.
Which one was Terri - the stepford wife? Sheesh - I am soooo not hip when it comes to popular culture.
I'd like to see the term "housewife" brought back into fashionability.
Only sKerry supporters watch that kind of stuff.....
Fine by me - it implies a sturdy hand at the helm when it comes to caring for the children. It just sounds so late 50s/early 60s-ish.
No..Terri had the smart ass daughter..I meant the actress who played the one who was also trying to get the plumber, who, it appears, is either a mafia hit man, or an FBI undercover agent..
Nicollete Sheriden (sp) was in Knots landing years ago
Agreed.
I have also been watching the new show "Medical Investigation." THAT show has completely disapponted me. The dialog and characters are stilted. And worse, some of the medical/biological terms are used completely incorrectly.
At least it's not another reality show.
Ok. Sorry - I wasn't sure who you were talking about.
I don't know who she is either.
I told you - I am sooo not hip when it comes to pop culture. ;)
Never saw her before...very hot..I gotta go find a few pics..
Oh my. Who was she in Knott's Landing? Not that I will necessarily remember. I was more of a "Dallas" fan than Knott's Landing.
"Homemaker" is a little precious.
I thought one of the funniest scenes was where the wife of the rich guy left the cocktail party, after bribing the server to keep her husband drunk, to go home and mow the lawn so her fling with the gardener wouldn't come to an end.
That was just too funny. And even funnier, when she bribed the server, I thought to myself, "She's going to go home and mow the lawn." Ha ha.
That was pretty good. Especially the little touch when she returned from mowing the lawn and plucks some grass or leaves out of her hair.
Mowing the lawn in a gown and heels. I guess she aerated the lawn while she ran the mower....
Did you see the lawyer show that came after? William Shatner playing a creepy, cheesy lawyer ... looked interesting. Ahead Warp Factor One, yo' honor. I didn't get to see anything but the first few minutes. Everyone who played something good in some show ends up, sooner or later, playing a lawyer in a lawyer show. Andy Griffith, etc. At least Dick Van Dyke played a doctor.
My plot guesses?
-What is buried beneath the pool is not a body.
-"I saw what you did" will be a case of jumping to conclusions, i.e. the woman offed herself needlessly.
