Dad
October 7, 1928 October 3, 2004
He was a strong and loving son,
And he loved his sister.
He loved his wife of many years,
Best believe it mister.
Together they raised many kids,
Yes six to be exact.
He helped to teach us to be strong,
Work hard, and how to act.
His children were his pride and joy,
He touted their success.
Grandchildren, they were special too,
It showed, no need to guess.
To friends he spoke about the pride,
He had for family.
He and Mom sure added branches,
To the family tree.
We miss him and well think about,
The good times we all had.
Well keep a place in all our hearts,
Where we will honor Dad.

I meant to post this earlier but it seems there are always interruptions. I hope good intentions count.
Thank you for sharing this with us.

Thank you both, so much. I'll be around more in a few days. So many things to do.
