Opps. I didn't mean the thread title to sound like this thread is a satire. What I meant was, the Robert Zubrin's book, The Holy Land, is a satire.

BTW, according to the email I recieved from him, it has been well recieved with conseravtives and supporters of Israel. So, if anyone wants to check it out, sounds like a good satire about the problems in the Middle East.

Zubrin is one of the most consistently morose individuals I've ever met. He projects a whiny, lugubrious stubborn pout: the whole world won't follow me on my quest to Mars!

It's made him a "celebrity" and a talking head on Discovery Channel(s). Probably a lot of money.

Hey Bob: Mars is cool...sort of. To me it grows ever more boring. An empty red desert strewn with rocks, at a temperature of -40 C and a CO2 atmosphere at 0.01 times the pressure of Earth's atmosphere..."Mars ain't the kind of place to raise a kid/and there's no one there to raise them, if you did..." or words to that effect.
