Debunking Kerry's Debate Performance
PE2K4 Presidential Debate | Oct 2, 2000 | Indepman

I believe America's best days are ahead of us because I believe that the future belongs to freedom, not to fear -- I fear if you were to get in office more good people would die because of your lies.

I can make American safer than President Bush has made us -- He didn't say how.

I have a better plan for homeland security -- He didn't say what it was.

I have a better plan to be able to fight the war on terror -- He never stated specifics.

I have a plan to have a summit with all of the allies -- He never said with which ones.

I think my plans are better. And my plans have a better chance of standing up and fighting for those troops -- I don't!

And our goal in my administration would be to get all of the troops out of there with a minimal amount you need for training and logistics -- doing it on the cheap and cutting and running is a plan for failure.

I will bring fresh credibility, a new start, and we will get the job done right -- He has no credibility except, maybe with France.

Well, you know, when I talked about the $87 billion, I made a mistake in how I talk about the war -- Wrong, he made a mistake in how he supported the troops.

I've had one position, one consistent position, that Saddam Hussein was a threat -- He was a flip flop extraodinaire on this issue!

I'll tell you this, as president, if it took American forces to some degree to coalesce the African Union, I'd be prepared to do it because we could never allow another Rwanda; it's the moral responsibility for us and the world. --He would rather be a savior of the Africans than the Americans.

I can do better -- No you can't.

Kerry lost the debate of IDEAS - with his naive approach to Iran, his ham-handed approach to N Korea, and his "global test" for our national security.

The most frightening thing to me was the shutting down of our nukes and after seeing his Senate record, you know he would do everything he could to disarm America.
