The debate last night was at times tough to watch because Kerry is such a liar and prima-donna and Bush has some very uncomfortable long pauses. Kerry only had one group targeted to reach during this debate and it wasn't the undecided - it was the women vote. Much has been made about how they have swung towards Bush these past weeks and all Kerry has to do it to pull the wool over the women vote by appearing Clinton-esk to bring them back in. Women think too much with their emotions and they see Kerry as tall, calm, groomed and this clouds their common sense. Clinton was a master at this and we had to put up with eight years of him. Even though Bush had a weak debate he still should win on substance. Women don't see through Kerry's charade but see Bush as fumbling his speech without hearing what he is saying. Remember, those who LISTENED to the Nixon/Kennedy debates thought Nixon won and those who watched though Kennedy won because they were mesmerized by a visual image.
