Did these news organizations watch the same debate?
Jesse Petrilla

Ok, the news organizations are claiming that Kerry won the first debate....did they watch the same debate that I saw? From what I saw, Kerry completely hung himself. So why is it that CBS issues poll results saying that 91% of Americans's surveyed say that Kerry won? I don't think we were watching the same debate as those over at CBS.

The DUmmies are blindly following orders from Terry "Global Crossing" McAwful and the DNC to spread their DU sauce all over the interactive polls.

Let them have their fun. They've bounced it so far left so as not even to be credible.

They are all, including FOX, on technical issues of debating and style.

When or if they begin to look at substance, and if they don't, Bloggers, Rush and talk radio, Fox, will and that will force the MSM to look at it, Kerry is going to pay for his lies and dangerous comments on foreign policy.

San Fran Chronicle, 92% kerry, 7% bush

obviously, they are voting on who said what they agree with, not who out debated the other

Yes, they watched the same debate.. Kerry came off as being polished, Bush didn't. Bush seemed to be searching for answers sometimes.

As time passes, the substance of what was said is being examined, and Kerry's losing the debate on those terms. Will the voters look at it the same way? Doubtful, first impressions are what many will go by. So, in that respect, it was a close tie, with perhaps the edge to Kerry.

I think Bush did fine, and Kerry failed by not winning in a huge manner. Tomorrow morning, the voter views will be just about the same as it was this morning; Bush is winning.

Get a grip, those are online polls. If it will make you feel better, here's an online poll Bush is winning 57 to 43 on who won the debate:

DNC sent out emails early yesterday morning telling people to vote in these polls.

No big deal.

Apparently the DNC has a couple hundred thousand e-mails in their database, and they sent out mass mailings telling every lib to vote that Kerry won the debate. They sent these mass mailings out before the debate started.

Never ever go so far as to destroy the illusion of credible deniability. Any poll in this country that shows 91% is out of step with reality. This country is severed in two and at least half of it is hard-core Republican and the majority of the GOP certainly didn't call it a win. The Dems as usual simply went too far and once again destroyed themselves. Anyone who is quoting these numbers as proof of anything is either deluded or severely beyond help biased.

some polls have over 500k votes, DU has not more than 50k, can't find a way to come to your conclusion. What are the results on Fox? Didn't found a poll there to FReep.

Those aren't polls. Those are internet polls. Only the dems are desperate enough to skew them. The republicans mostly went to bed.

Add DU, the DNC, Moreon.org and all those other leftst whacko fringe groups together and you'll get to that number. I wouldn't be suprised if McAwful had his own bot to vote early and often for Kerry.

After all, Democrats don't know much about voting once for anything and will try to get away with stuffing the ballot box whenever they can. They probably each voted multiple times.

You may have drank too much Kool-Aid if you think these polls are true.

Never pay any attention to these online polls. They are easily -- and usually -- skewed.

Already happening. The AP article is out and I think it looks good for those of us in the white hats.

Those polls were not scientific. Senator Kerry may have been debatically sustaining, but he had the clarity and warmth of a wet fart.
("debatically" is a new word.(?) A Bushism if you will. :)

They need to look at the nature of the questions, too. Almost every one was intended to put the President on the defensive or maneuver him into attacking Kerry. The President avoided the traps, but he recognized what was happening and that's another reason why he was so frustrated. Kerry, on the other hand, fielded almost nothing but slow, easy bounces as opposed to the line drives fired at the President..

It was the same way after the President took office and everything started coming out about Clinton and his staff trashing the White House, stealing other items, etc. The Dems wanted the gentleman cowboy to take off his gloves and start taking potshots at Clinton & co. Then the media would have shown him no mercy.

Now, as then, he remained above the fray. He's a grown-up, not a whining, bickering child.
