Le ZOTTE: My very IMPORTANT opinion on tonight's debate. VERY IMPORTANT BREAKING NEWS VANITY! MAYO

NO ONE ELSE THOUGHT OF THIS SO IT DESERVES A THREAD OF ITS OWN!
I think each and every poster on FR should post a new thread stating his opinion on the debate. This way, instead of having only a few threads with hundreds of posts each (ie, discussion threads), we will have hundreds of threads, each with two comments. One the important opinion, and two, the complaint about vanity posts.

PLEASE, direct us to that single thread in the sky where we can ALL talk about the debate.
And could you take out the garbage threads in the meantime? ;)

There are no threads on the debate. You must start your own.

I don't know which is worse...the thousands of vanity threads with one or two replies, or the live debate threads with 2,500+ posts, all of which terminate with a reply that goes something like, "A moose bit my sister once."

"My comment on tonight's debate can be summed up in 2 words. Missed opportunities." Yeah, that's about the size of it. President Bush did not look organized in his thoughts, especially during the first half. My hope is that only the base of both parties watched (and are spinning) the debate.
I don't have a good feel about how this debate came across to the American people. I'm sure many here will say that President Bush was "better" than Senator Kerry, but was he really? To Freepers, sure. To the middle-of-the-road voters, no one really knows.

Tip got to the FR homepage and hit latest posts (not latest articles). It is impossible to miss. If that fails use the search engine. If that fails load a revolver and put it in your mouth. It is pretty hopeless.

The importance of each vanity poster's thought ...the "unique" nature of it, the compelling need to share with a vanity instead of the "thought" being lost on a thread, left, unappreciated and perhaps unnoted for the ages cannot be deterred I have noticed...;)

Great post Jim - and by the way, thank you for this great forum.
To: Jim Robinson
Say are you new around here or what?LOL
Don't you know the boss man don't like "vanity" posts!!! LMAO
I know my fellow FReepers will flame me but in all honesty I think Kerry was sharper tonight. And W could have been sharper.
That said. W pointed out that the Traitor was rudderless and waffled more than a short order cook at I.H.O.P.!
Bottom line: To borrow a game show title from the fifties.
"Who do you trust?" And we all know the answer to that question!
Kerry lied while good men died!
