RR changed my life - I was a sniveling wussy lib, then the Iran hostage crisis and Reagan's campaign made me into a manly conservative. I will love that man until the day I die.

Hell, my granddaughter was born in 84 and her brother in 88. Both were born on the same date four years apart. That day is 9/11...Well, that is pretty unique,..referring to the Sept 11 date, it is now a rather somber day. I think my oldest, a grandson was hatched in 84 or 85.

Are they Imelda Marcos's shoes?
Me? Born in 1982 and ready for duty in the war against liberalism, and against Sega (Nintendo rules, suckas!).
At least I was born under a REAL president; 2 of my siblings were brought to earth during the Reign of Terror of Bill and Her Hitlery. My father brought us up right though, so "Reagan" is a name spoken with the utmost reverence in our household, while Clinton's new book makes great sh***er paper.

I'm so sorry, what was I thinking, just way to many words in there together that can cause one's mind to get off topic; vaseline, leather, pumps, boots -- I will never post about those things again, please forgive me for the distraction. Now back to making dinner for my husband and kids.

I remember those too. And the old rotary phones, if you dialed your number then hung up really fast the phone would ring. For some strange reason, I thought that was great fun.
Looking back, I suppose it was...phone rings one time...Mom gets up and answers...no one there. Wouldn't you know it, about the time she sat back down it would ring again. lol
