I can only assume you all like to walk into town where basic hygiene, basic civilization for that matter, is respected. Since when has the freak sideshow as played out on Main street been tolerated? Television and media are the new main street and citizens who fund main street are entitled to a say. I think we are at least entitled to do what has been done in the case of Dan Rather, or at least we are entitled to alert the advertisers. What you libertarians suggest is that only the opposition gets to hold sway. You also seem to suggest prudery is objectionable in the marketplace of public ideas. If opposing a bunch of transgendered freaks polluting the culture is prudery, call me one, after all the word shares a root with prudence and that means discernment in my book. Flame on newbies :) V's wife.

(Added after your last post): I don't think prudery is the issue, either. Also, I live in NYC, so the hygiene thing and freak show argument don't apply here. And, I'm not a libertarian. I just feel that life's too short to waste time with television.
