The quakes are cause by magam moving up the pipe from the magma chamber.
If she does go, I'm hoping it's the itty bitty stuff like she did in ancient history that built up the previous nice pretty mountain.
But considering she did the explosive blast eruption, that pretty much says that the composition of the magma has changed.
