In addition to "Tour Of Duty", I wonder if OReilly has reviewed info on Kerry-Viet huddles in Hanoi and Paris,Kerry portrait in Hanoi Museum's Legion Of Heroes,Kerry VVAW testimony, etc. Being a friend, He should be able to wangle an interview with "MASSACHURIAN CANDIDATE".
O'Reilly is on some personal crusade that's leading him to nowhere.
I would tell O'Reilly to tread vewy vewy carefully. If he's not careful he is going to end up Ratherized.
Yep. We made him and we can break him. His BS comment about knowing John Kerry for 25 years, blah blah blah, and not trusting the Swift Vets has lost me. I'll watch his interview with W, and then I'll never watch him again.
I'm going to ping you to an essay I wrote. I think you'll like it.
So what am I, chopped Kerry? Ping me too!
You've probably already read it. "Greatest Generation."
"I'll watch his interview with W, and then I'll never watch him again."
Now, lawgirl. You're not being very open-minded. You...you...mean, nasty, partisn, conservative, you. :)
Ok, I think you're right.
Oreilly is going down the same path as Hackworth. Is hemp smoking legal somewhere that we don't know about?
Yes. I checked. You're on my ping list.
Have you noticed that no one calls up Hackworth to do television much anymore? At least not on Fox.
O'Reilly is done... I think all conservatives should stop watching his show and encourage others to do the same. He was raised up by the conservatives and he crapped on us.... Worthless-typical-liberal dirt bag.
You know, I HAVE noticed that. Hack will generally defend Kerry's medals, and I don't mind that. But, I would REALLY like to hear him defend Kerry and his potential for being the CIC. I think HACK does not want to be noticed much right this moment. I really do respect HACK, but I think his politics stink.
"I really do respect HACK, but I think his politics stink."
I completely agree.
Not on anything. I haven't seen him on an interview anywhere is quite some time. I really am sorry that his outlook and his perspective has changed so radically. I really do believe that this might be due to some medical condition. For that reason, I try not to slam his rhetoric too hard. He used to have such good commentary but now I just skim it to see if his rhetoric has changed. It hasn't.
"He used to have such good commentary but now I just skim it to see if his rhetoric has changed. It hasn't."
I remember after 9/11 when we went to Afghanistan that he was giving excellent commentary from a conservative viewpoint. But as time passed, he started to drift further and further left. So now I tend to ignore it. It's too bad.
Don't mean to butt in - but - Hackworth - ?
Is this the same Hackworth who spoke out against Clinton - ? Was he Military - ? If so - what happened -? If I may ask -
Sorry if I've got the wrong guy -
Same guy. David Hackworth. Wrote a great book, Steel My Soldiers Hearts.
Like I said, I don't know what has caused the change in him. Maybe his age or maybe the effects of the Vietnam War. However, there is a very obvious change in the way he analyzes the military compared to when he was analyzing it during the Clinton years.
