Unfortunately, I'm afraid that Bowles is going to win, partially based on his campaign's ads depicting his opponent as a BIG SPENDER. The very thought of a liberal being able to level that charge at a Republican makes me think that maybe the good people of NC are starting to recognize that "big government" types are not necessarily restricted to a single party and are merely voting the conscience of their wallets.
Maybe when pollsters ask Tar Heels "Who are you far -- Bowles or Burr?" they reply "Bowles" because they have heard his name for a longer period of time than they have heard "Burr." Well, just wishful thinking.
What ARE you talking about?
I'm sorry, you people are just idiots.
