I know for a fact that it is a 2003 honda rc51 1000cc twin. it is completely stock except for slip on exhaust, and 3 stickers.

Speed checking with a time over distance method like this gets a bit sketchy when the distance is covered in a very short period of time. Given human reaction times, if the officer started the stopwatch just a moment too late and stopped it just a moment too soon, chopping say half a second to the time it really took to cover the 1/4 miles, the measured speed would have been 21 miles an hour less.The system uses a hyperbolic function to measure the distance, and down close to the origin its gets awfully sensitive.
Not enough to get out of the ticket, but maybe enough of an argument to get some mph knocked off it, which might matter if Minnesota charges per mph.
