Bingo, FITZ -- you hit the nail right on the head. I see Europe's current state and America's reaction to it as amazingly parallel to the world situtation around, say, 1936. There are some differences, of course -- the assymetrical nature of the adversary, and the fact that America got hit big first (otherwise we'd still be totally asleep). But we have the same patterns again in how the Europeans are falling over themselves in fear of the U.S. while the cancer is growing dailing in their own backyards, and how many Americans still do not want to face the truth that this is another battle to the death between cultures, if not nations.

I have argued this point with many people I know in various European nations, as well as Canada and Australia, and they simply refuse to see the evidence of their own eyes. They are simply too brainwashed. To me, they are all walking dead men, and they are going to pay a horrific price before they eventually come begging to us to save their self-righteous asses. Again.

All we have to do is watch and wait, and let them be a living laboratory to the rest of the world. And they will. God help them.

I don't think most people understand this is a religious war, so there is no end in sight. The end will come when one side, us or them, agree to believe in that god.

Their bible, the Koran says to kill infidels (us) until they succumb. If we don't understand that we must have the same gpal, then the fighting will go on forever.

The instance in Falluha, where we backed off is something we should never do. You do not win by alloowing the enemy to regather, re arm and resupply their forces.

Appeasing the enemy will only result in more soldiers of our dying. Since it is unPC to stomp the snot out of them, I do not look for a short war.

Look what it took to end WWII. The H-bomb. The Korean War isn't over yet. Viet Nam is over only because we pulled out of the country in defeat.

Either we get in and destroy entire cities which will, (hopefully) cause the moderate muslims to forbid the radicals from ever committing another attack against us, or this war will go on forever.
