Help with 3 liberals Michael Savage named? Leary, Ginsberg, and WHO?

Posted on 09/20/2004 9:32:02 PM PDT by RepublicanAttackMachine

I remember hearing a few weeks back when listening to Michael Savage's radio show, him going on and on about, what else? liberalism. It was probably one of the best shows of his I ever heard.

There was one part where he was talking about radical liberalism penetrating and coming to America, and he named the 3 men who he felt was responsible for it -- Timothy Leary (drug-testing professor), Allen Ginsberg (the poet), and someone else, who I completely forgot. Does anyone remember hearing that show, or possibly have heard Savage repeat those names at some other time (I know he often has recurring themes in his shows), and if you have the time, what that person did?

Tom Hayden...but he is a total idiot...I would not give him any credit. Yep, liberalism has a history. I am Michael's age, and I was there -- Woodstock, the whole she-bang. Those were wild times, then Viet Nam, a wild roller coaster ride.

As the old saying goes, "IF YOU REMEMBER THE SIXTIES, YOU WERE NOT THERE..."

I would have probably remembered Jack Kerouak. And if I recall correctly, one reason Savage hates Ginsberg is because he feels that Ginsberg ruined Kerouak's life.

EAGLEUSA- Are you sure it was Tom Hayden? I don't know anything about the man so I'm not questioning you on those grounds, I'm just wondering, because other responses I've got were "could have been" type things. Is Tom Hayden who he said to your knowledge?

Thanks to all of you -- I hope I can get the answer

On one of the Michael Savage shows someone offered this bumper stickers: "I actually voted for Kerry before I voted against him!" :)

Did you ever find the answer to your question? I'm reading M.S.'s book, The Enemy Within. (Excellent read, and quite funny in parts. And believe me, you need to maintain a sense of humor when reading about the "enemy within.") So far (I'm only chap. 2) he hasn't mentioned any three people as the group responsible for liberalism in the USA, but of the names offered in the posts above, Ruth B. Ginsberg, has gotten the most mentions in the book. I'll let you know if he names three in particular.
