I cannot understand why the neville chamberlain type I was debating with has such an obvious and transparent hatred for the military, Bush, and the war in Iraq nor do I understand why they're so adamant that BDubya's daughters should serve in Iraq.
I tried explaining that some people just are not cut out at all for military life.
My exact words to the effect were: "Maybe good teachers who can help lead future generations, maybe law enforcement or even future politicians, but some just are not cut out for the 24 hours a day 7 days a week in the bugs stench and heat up to your eyeballs in mud and nearest shower is several miles and days away stuff."
