Oh, I may be very slow indeed tonight. Started my day trying to chase down paperwork that got bogged down in the system and had to be on the judge's desk this morning. Then I had to go to a court hearing in juvenile court on criminal charges on one of my kids. After that I went back to the office to try and run damage control with a foster parent who wants my two foster girls OUT....like yesterday. Had to go meet with the therapist for another of my kids. Had to get one taken and signed up for day care that was transferring from one foster home to another. Had to go and visit the clients on a new case...a mom, a 9th grader and her baby and a pregnant 18 year old....and 2 dogs, one of which peed on my foot. Then I had to retrieve another client whose kids I had just taken into foster care on Thursday (long time case), had her drug tested...positive for coke, meth and pot. Gave her a good lecturing and made her watch a video, set her up with a referral to a rehab, took her to the food pantry and home, stopped and grabbed some lunch, which I didn't get time to eat (until 7 pm). Made some phone calls, had a doctor's appointment, then had to pick up 2 foster kids and deliver them to an anger management class. Went back to the office and did some of my documentation and responded to emails. Just an otrdinary day.

The truly amazing thing was that in the midst of all that, when I was at the doctor, my blood pressure was 120/80.
