Well, all I can say about the retirement thing is that if he had less than 20 years he most likely did not retire but just got out at the expiration of his service. He could have gone into the REserves at that time or he could have just gone back in again altogether..you'll just have to ask him what he really did..To civilians it can be confusing. When did he go in and when did he get out?
Lung collapse,,that is extremely painful!Glad he is ok now and that he was physically fit to go back in or stay in which ever it was.
If he is over there now or will be shortly I wish him the best and hope he will be safe...those fellows and gals are really doing a huge job under difficult circumstances. War situations are always stressful but this is really something else.
News today is that there is some kind of push going on over there. the Iraqui's took the hospital without a shot fired I believe and the Marines and other forces are are poised and ready for orders whenever they come...Our service personnel and especially our Marines are doing us proud.
Definitely!
Thank you for all the support. When he was a recruiting officer in LA, he was always getting approached by modeling agencies. I think he only did one shoot for a gun magazine, but he could have made thousands, just had no time or interest. He's extremely good-looking and a perfect poster boy for the Marines. I think he started full-time (after college) approximately '88/'89. He's so excited about his promotion, and that Pres. Bush will be signing the papers.
