You know what I was just thinking is pretty easy to grow - chile peppers. You don't even have to buy seeds. Just plant the ones from the chiles you eat. They have mild ones if you don't like the hot ones, you can string them up, use them in potpourri... They grow like weeds around here; the birds carry the seeds and I find them in my potted plants. That's quite all right; we can always use more peppers. They are excellent for allergies too. I take a chile pepper instead of a Chlortrimeton.

There was a great concern in the 1980's over
Food Irradiation as a presevative........This was a brain child of UN........I called it the hysterectomy of Fruits and Vegetables........Becaue irradiation would not destroy the reproductive property of our foods.......and Farmers would be forced to buy new seeds each crop season!
