If you've ever wanted to be subjected to inhuman labor, get horribly mistreated by boss-men, or find yourself trapped inside a mountain and attacked by a demon, now's your chance. If you're an Asian male, that is.
Extras are needed for an ABC miniseries based on Stephen King's bestselling novel, "Desperation," to be filmed in the Tucson and Bisbee areas from Nov. 2 to Dec. 14. Asian - and specifically Chinese - men, 18 and older, are needed to play 1849 miners and laborers on Nov. 6 and 7 in Bisbee.
Transportation, hotel and meals will be provided for those selected. Extras will also be paid the regular, non-union wage: $60 for the six-hour first day and $100 for the second, a 10-hour day.
Don't fit the description but still want a shot to be in a TV movie? Other extras are needed to play Caucasian miners, townspeople, military personnel, Vietnamese men/women and general background and stand-ins.
