This was a portion of the trail. It was pretty dense, and there were spider webs across the path between the trees all the way. This was actually a pretty open area compared to most of the trail. I had to hike with a branch out in fromt of me to tear down the webs.

That is SO beautiful. We only have area like that close by- on Mt. Lemmon - about an hour drive away. Now that you mention it, I think I've been in some forests (maybe on the Appalachian Trail) where I had to brush off cobwebs. Luckily, no spiders landed on me that I can recall, but the webs were annoying.
