Nermal was always good that way, although sometimes grudgingly. He doesn't respond so well any more, but I think he's gotten hard of hearing. Sometimes I can stand right behind him and call him and he won't respond until I touch him. So it worries me a bit now when he goes outdoors. I try to keep a close eye on him when he's out. He never goes far and he does love it outside.
