There are things I like and things I hate about it. I like my co-workers (big plus) and I like working with most of my clients. That part is challenging. Of course, it too has its ups and downs. What I absolutely hate is constantly being bogged down in bureaucratic BS. If there is an efficient way to do something and a complicated and cumbersome way to do the same thing, the state will err on the side of complicated every time, then they wonder why people are not managing their cases the way they're supposed to be done. I really hate it when I need to be attending to my clients and instead, I'm sitting at my desk bogged down in paperwork and a sorry computer program.
Yep. Sounds exactly like Mrs.L's gig with TxReHab Comm. administrating SocSecurity claims for disability claims...the sheer tonnage of paperwork is mind-boggling.
Of course, it keeps lots of folks on the government payroll, just to sort it all, and to dream up more forms which must be completed.
Once they got people looking to the gooberment, and not churches and charities, for assistance; we were sunk as a nation.
Good luck, up there, Libby.
