Nine cats. We don't have any indoor snakes - and we are in an urban enough area the cats won't get eaten by rattlers outside.
But, back in Death Valley, this family lived in a trailer with a bunch of kids and a bunch of snakes. They'd loan us their pythons and boas so we could show the park visitors snake features. My friend would walk in from outside with a snake draped on her, and she'd say "hey BQ, guess what I just found in the lady's restroom". The mainly elderly audience of 500 would gasp, luckily no one ever had a heart attack. But I was an EMT at the time and could have helped.

And no short jokesRemember that Randy Newman song about "short people ain't got no reason"? That was my theme song until my height-challenged grammar school friends (all of my friends were 5'1" - 5'3") beat me up. Since then, I have been sensitive to others' heights :)
If I had a dollar for every person who asked if I play basketball, hahhahahha.
