We're not all kind and generous here, Darks: plenty enough a-holes reside here.
Or claim to...
They're not "real" Texans.

Darks, in Texas it used to be a valid legal defense that someone 'needed killing' but that kinda changed with the new criminal code in the '70s. Since then, the A-hole population has grown and bred.

Funny you should mention that. My chiropractor told me to look up the word "harassment" today so I did (his wife is in a similar situation but with a female idiot lead). I'm afraid things will get worse for me if I use that word, but I can't think of any other way to explain what is going on. Even though he's not "sexually" harassing me (not only would that would be revolting beyond compare but I'd never stand for it. I've had all sorts of self defense and law enforcement training. But with him, all I'd have to do is stand up, tower over him, and poke his gelatinous mass and the baby would run off crying like he typically does). So, I'm in a bind, I fear. The manager always has taken his side even though he does this to others too. I've been documenting everything since this started in the spring and have two files on him.

If you mention the documentation of sexual harassment, the company Human Resources people and lawyers will scare the BS out of the manager and Bluto. They are terrified some lightweight management goons are gonna cost them a fortune.

I wouldn't suggest you ever actually file a formal complaint. It would make it hell to ever get employed again, but it would be handy to have everyone know you have a documented claim ready to pull the trigger on.

Bluto - HAHHAHAHHAH!!! THAT is funny. I think of him as the Tub (Tub of Lard), Richter Scale 10.7, Henry the Eighth... I know, I know, I'm going to Hel#. If his buttons weren't always popping off in meetings and if he didn't wear little girly shorts, cleaned up and wasn't always eating donuts, he might not be so offensive.

See, I was thinking I would just say "harassment" and leave the sexual part out. The dictionary meaning of harassment definitely applies... I mean, I can't say "badgering" or anything like that. I've already told the manager Bluto asks us the same things repeatedly no matter how many times we've answered. I've always had good reviews until he came along, started getting threatened by me and my work ethic (he takes two hour lunches and does little work all day). This year God only knows what kind of review I'll get after all this.

Oh, and did I mention the female manager only got her job last year because they needed a minority? She can't spell or read either.

Harassment means taking an action which has the result of being degrading, belittling, insulting, etc. It can be in the form of speech or in the form of non-verbal actions, such as patronizing behaviors, leering or eye motions, posters, or any other action which could be seen as inhibiting a reasonable person from performing his/her work.

Found that on a labor law board. The degrading and patronizing behaviors definitely applies, and I have specifics... and at least two other women I work with have complained about his patronizing manner too.

The company is all about PC crap, yet when this sort of thing goes on, they do nothing.

This article is about the Forbes family related to US Senator John Kerry. For information about the Forbes family associated with Forbes magazine, see Forbes

Several of the Forbes family cashed out of their dealings in China after the Opium War, and reinvested in Europe and the United States. Some of the population growth of Chicago and Midwestern Plains states in the middle to late 19th century was due to John Murray Forbes' railroad projects in Michigan and Chicago. The Chicago, Burlington & Quincy Railroad Co., from Chicago west to the Pacific was built by John Murray Forbes who had perhaps a reputation for sound financial management amongst the railroad tycoons of the day.

In 1879, William Forbes, son of John Murray Forbes, risked the fortune to financially back Alexander Graham Bell's telephone company, and become president of the company, a risk which paid off. Cameron Forbes used his wealth to become Governor General of the Philippines.

His niece Ruth Forbes Paine Young tapped her Forbes family inheritance to finance the International Peace Academy.

Her husband invented the Bell Helicopter used in the Korean and Vietnam Wars.

In a tiny footnote to history, Ruth Forbes Paine Young's son, Michael R. Paine, and his wife Ruth Paine, allowed Maria Oswald, the wife of Lee Harvey Oswald, to live in their house as a family friend, and Oswald's rifle was stored for a time in the Paine's family garage.

Many Forbes family members purchased estates in France and Massachusetts, and generally remain influential there, in local or national politics.

John Forbes Kerry is a U.S. Senator and currently a candidate for President of the U.S. Though he is a beneficiary of several Forbes family trusts (c. 2002), Kerry has not worked in the private sector for Forbes family business interests and has devoted his life to a career in public service. Kerry's first cousin and friend, Brice Lalonde, an environmentalist activist, is a French Green party politician who was a candidate for President of France in 1981 and currently mayor of Saint-Briac-sur-Mer near the Forbes family estate.

CON'T Forbes family

Such restraint, Loddy. I always felt the need to inflict my opinion give everyone the benefit of my opinion. LOL!

Great, isn't it? I don't know what I did before FR. Oh yeah; I had a life.

For anybody who didn't already know, Jim said that FR is likely to be down again tonight for up to 8 hours starting sometime around 10 Pacific time.

Maybe he needs some literature on Early Onset Alzheimer's left on his desk.

Park visitors died when they accidentally impaled themselves on the table salt.

That's gotta hurt!

Hahahhaha! You should see this salt - it's called the Devil's Golf Course. It's several hundred feet below sea level.
