Oh, should I be relieved? Speaking of 42, I found an amusing
anectdote on a site dedicated to such.
Deep Thought
"Scientists in Cambridge spent three years calculating one of the fundamental
keys to the universe - The Hubble Constant [the velocity at which a typical
galaxy is receding from Earth divided by its distance from Earth] that determines
the age of the universe. This process mirrored a passage in [Douglas Adams's]
cult science fiction novel and radio series 'The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy'
in which an alien race programs a computer called Deep Thought to provide the
ultimate answer to understanding life and the universe.
"In the novel, seven and a half million years later Deep Thought comes back with
the result, 42.
"In an extraordinary coincidence when the Cambridge scientists finally calculated
the Hubble Constant they found the answer was also 42."
In my case, I acted older too, so I know exactly what you are saying. When I was ten, people thought I was in my late teens. I didn't meet anyone who could handle me until at least 23 or so... and he was quite a bit older. I could never deal with guys my age until I hit my 30s.
Somewhat.
C-17 has a kinda fatter profile at that angle than a C-5 does.
Since I live not too far from Stewart airport and the Tac transport wing there, I gett to see C-5's fly at all altitudes..
In June one was lumbering along at 700 feet and going rather slow.
Dunno why they stuck him that low, but he rumbled alot of buildings.
*sigh*
Strangely it made me miss my old artillery unit.
Don't you think that looks like Nully? Soooo fierce.. lol.
Looks like a good digger of holes too.. ;)
She looks the same now.
I was 19 once. *Sigh* Not many pictures in existence of me then though, and most of those were when I was going through my "blonde phase" (in more ways than one).
.
KEWL!
My best friend hates going to the mall with my family.
She's taller than all of us & laughs about all the short
people surrounding her & there she is, right in the
middle, looking like Mt Everest.
I have now. Running for cover.
Cute is relative anyway.
I was blonde when I was born, but it got darker.
My head was cover with curls too. In my hospital
pic, I look like a very angry kewpie baby.
Cute is evil. It undermines my attempts to be series.
.
ROTFL!
Hehehehehe.....
That's a good picture. You should put that one on your profile page.
Oh cutie wootie.. I liked the other pic too..
(Actually I hate it, you S-ut!)
