Titans 17, Colts 31 - worst officiating in history of NFL!

The Titans dominated the first quarter, but the refs decided that little Peyton Manning was being treated unfairly, so they had to help him.
The calls were the most grotesque jokes I've ever seen.

Yes, I'm a Titans fan. Yes this is sour grapes. But the refs screwed this one up badly. I don't think they got one call right, either way. This is the worst officiating crew I've ever seen. But they always seemed to find some BS call to screw the Titans or protect the Colts. These guys should be down checked and investigated for shear incompetance, if not corruption.

Are the Titans 0-2 this season? Wow, there's gonna be trouble in Music City.
To: Phsstpok
No kidding. I especially like how they spotted the ball about a half yard ahead of where Edgerrin James was stopped on the fourth down, giving Indy a 1st & 10 they shouldn't have had.

Yeah... Not much better than that bogus call on the Gators last night!
To: tdadams
Oh. Who did they beat last week?

If Eddie Berlin's catch at the one yard line isn't considered a catch, I'd like to know what it takes for the refs to call it a catch.
Apparently, putting two hands on the ball and coming down with the ball firmly in your grasp with the ball never touching the ground is no longer considered a catch.

Well the 49ers just lost when the refs called offensive pass interference for a WR blocking on a screen play.

Oh, good. I loathe the Dolphins.
To: Phsstpok
Don't worry, the Patriots will bounce Peyton outta the playoffs once again.

Yeah, that call on the one yard line was the biggest joke I've seen since..well, yesterday, I guess. At that point, the Titans still would have lost, but it was a poor, poor, call.

I hate the fact that the Pats have their off-week so early in the season (next week) and then go to Buffalo.
But I guess that's a good test.
