I've just spent the most delightful several hours reading this thread (between dinner, and laundry). You all have wonderful horses (at least the ones I see in the pictures).
I would love to join you occassionally if I may. We raise Appaloosas but good horses come in all colors.
Frog in A Blender - I've listed horses on the internet and did have someone offer me full price plus additional to contract for trailering. When I said I wouldn't contract that, that was their responsibility, they disappeared. I found out later it was a scam. I have listed them on Dreamhorse.com and AgDirect as well as justappaloosas.com
cowboyway - two of my foals are Impressive bred. 2003 filly and 2004 colt. We didn't breed them, we bought both and their mother a couple of months ago. They both have really good minds.
MissTargets - check justappaloosas.com for your black and white leopard with the indian shuffle. My old riding mare was a red leopard with the shuffle. I really do miss her.
Anyway, thanks everyone for the photos and the tips I've picked up.
... Much exciteMent this weekend on this thread as new horses are arriving !!!
And welcome to the thread, stop in as often as you like!
My first riding experience was at an Appaloosa farm, I learned to ride from a leopard Appy broodmare that was older than the hills and a sweetheart.
