Well, that IS a good thing.
I have been very happy with glucosamine/chondroitin with Ester C. It really seems to work. I was standing outside on a cold damp day for over an hour before I realized that neither my knee nor my finger were hurting . . . Apparently the Vitamin C is necessary for the body to absorb the g/c.
Yoga (the mild kind, not the crazy kind) is good for increasing hip joint flexibility.

I've been doing deep water aerobics on the side to try to increase my flexibility. I think that it's working, but the problem is that beacuse there's less impact on my joints I can't tell what my limits are, so when I get out I'm usually hurting after a half hour.
