If they were going to bother to test, it should at least be meaningful skill... The ability to point and hit your target is the easy part. The situational decision making, the legal and ethical judgment calls you must make when deciding to use lethal force would be the valuable part.
But that's just my opinion after all ;~D The gubmint knows best, right?
I wonder how Becky's ride is going. I am sure the horse will do fine, it'll be a question of whether the guy is willing to spend....
I know it was her plan to sell all along, but I think she'll be more than a little sad to see this horse drive out the driveway.
Yeah, I think so too. You can't help but get attatched to them. Even the horsey ones:') I guess the guy showed up are we would have heard.
The ride was great, the horse was great, and the guy liked him, but seems to be leaning towards wanting a gaited horse. The group he rides with mostly rides gaited horses, and they move out fast, he said 7 miles an hour. I agree at a trot that would kill you on a Quarter horse if you didn't post, and you could tell he didn't like that "Up down stuff:)".
But he also said, he needs to decide if he is going to continue to ride with this group, they are in Mo. so he has a long drive to go with them. HE said if he finds a group around here they would probably be riding Quarters, so then he'd want a Quarter. But I think he leans towards the gaited ones.
We rode a couple of hours, I did call cs and she went with us.

No doubt I will miss the horse when he leaves:). He is good, you don't find them like him often, especially at his age. But I still really want to sell him.
