Thanks.

You know, he was alot more then a vet. He and his wife really liked my DIL, and we took JP down there and took his picture with them. They always asked me about my kids and grandkids. Just really nice people. I feel I lost alot more then just a vet, even tho I didn't see them all that often. They were some of the few people left that thought of other people more often then they thought of themselves.

He could have trailers and horses lined up to the road, but when it was your turn, he never hurried, would sit down and visit. Always told you what was going on in detail. I don't know how many times I would go down there, and he'd look at the horse, tell me what to do, and not charge anything. He was a great guy.

Becky

Oh Becky - I am so sorry about the loss of your vet.... They really are more than "just a vet" as they see us through our various animal "emergencies"

your stories about his family show his heart was in the right place there as well.... Praying for comfort for his wife and all of his loved ones.....Cindy

No, you really don't find people like that in the world anymore. That's why they leave such a lasting mark. :-) He sounded like he was a really wonderful person.
