Red reminds me of that drawing of the "perfect" horse yall posted from that old book.
Hair, thank you. (wiping tear.) I swear to God I love this horse. I feel the same way. Two women are dying to buy him this weekend and I want to ring their necks, (and one is SO sweet, believe me, I know this is a totally irrational response.)
I wanted to make one important point. I am willing to lease him for much less and forgot to change that in the text that I sent you.
RED'S LEASE RATE PER MONTH SHOULD READ: $155.00/ MONTH OR OBO.
I dont know if there's anything that we can do at this point but $200-300 is probably too high right now for a lease given my objectives (which is to keep him!)

Are you thinking of someone who will continue board at the same place and the money is to cover that cost?
Or would you be willing to let someone take him somewhere else?
Because in a typical lease situation, The lessee covers all daily expenses, feed, board, shoeing, veterinary, but there isn't usually additional money to the owner, it's a "free-lease". It will be harder to find someone willing to pay to lease.
