Next I find a part time job and study for the spring licensing exams while looking for a full time job for when I pass. I'm hoping to find an equine or mixed practice with some older, more experienced veterinarians to start off with and gain experience. Eventually, I'll go back to get a board certification, but that's a few years off. I want to pay off my loans and get a taste of real life first.

Good morning. I was home this weekend and all the catchin up work didn't leave much time to log on. Spent quite a few hours in the saddle riding my old horse and training my new one.
The new horse is coming along fine but is a little slow picking up neck reigning. So I tried the old trick of crossing the reins underneath his neck and voila', instant improvement. Got his second set of shoes Saturday and he looked like an old pro the way he stood there, even with the dogs running around under his feet. I might have a good one here.
