Thread III: http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-chat/1311311/posts |

Free Republic has a lot of horse people that have found each other on other threads . And since we all like to talk horses, how about a thread where it is not off-topic, but is THE topic?
A few of us thought it would be interesting and informative to have a chat thread where we can share ideas, ask for input from other horsemen, and talk about our riding and horse-keeping. We have a lot of different kinds of riders and horses, and a lot to share. In the last thread we had a great time and were a great help to each other working through lessons and training, horse lamenesses and illnesses, questions and challenges and always just our stories we like to tell.
I always have a link to this thread on my profile page, so if you have something to say and can't find the thread in latest posts look for it there and wake the thread up!
I also have a ping list for horse threads that are of interest, and Becky pings everyone most mornings. Let Becky (Paynoattentionmanbehindthecurtain) and/or me know if you would like to be on the ping list. As FreeRepublic is a political site, our politics and other issues will probably blend in . There are many issues for horsemen that touch politics land use, animal rights/abuse cases that make the news . Legislation that might affect horse owners.
So... like the last thread, this is intended as fun place to come and share stories, pictures, questions and chit-chat, unguided and unmoderated and that we come together here as friends. There are lots of ways of doing things and we all have our quirks, tricks and specialties that are neat to learn about.
I don't think you can link from there. I think you have to be logged in to HP see them. Yahoo albums work the same way.
I would try www.snapfish.com.
got it right at last!
You did your code right, but we can't see it. You can see them because you have an account there, but we can't :~\
:( oh well............let me try snapfish.com!
Sorry for ya.... It isn't very hard to enroll at snapfish, sorry you'll have to load them again. Mild warning, the URLs at snapfish are really long, so make sure to copy the whole thing.
Good news is the links stay up a looooooong time very stable.
It's really easy once you get it done but it seems so complicated when you are trying to figure out how.

I know... It's a lot of little steps that have to all go right!

:) See post 5962 above.
Hi Duchess,
finally got back on here, no luck with snapfish.com, my security on my pc doesnt like it. Any other photo site anyone knows of that is good?
I am determined to post a photo if it takes me all Christmas! LOL
Hair recommended www.yorkphoto.com as one, I've not tried it but I think several people here use it. Good luck. If worse comes to worse, email the pictures to one of us and we can post them for you :)
Any of them will activate your security settings if they are set really high, because by its very nature, you are using it to browse your machine and upload files. You need to allow access is all. There isn't anything insidious that I have ever found in it.
Having a coffee break.
Finished baking cookies, and got the city chicken stabbed:) I hate doing that.
Hope you all get your pictures posted. We will be leaving in a bit to go look at Christmas lights.

Think Santa will come while you're gone?
He might:), isn't it the 24th somewhere in the world yet? He should be somewhere by now, just would need to make a detour.
I was listening to Christmas music on Sirius and one minute they were playing that song about the little boy buying the red shoes for his dying mother, next was Grandma got run over by a reindeer. I was bawling one minute and laughing the next.

What a roller coaster!
